Functional Testing
Functional testing is a quality assurance (QA) process and a type of black-box testing that bases its test cases on the specifications of the software component under test.
Non Functional Testing
Non-Functional Testing is defined as a type of Software testing to check non-functional aspects (performance, usability, reliability, etc) of a software application.
Standard QA/Test services we provide through the Test Urbis Platform
QA/Test Plans design.
We can prepare QA plans and Test Plans for software development projects. The plans can be elaborated using the customers’ own templates and structure, or we can use our ones, which we refined over time to cover the industry best practices and standards.
Test cases design.
Our team can design the test cases for your product. We can design test cases for all types of testing, functional and non-functional, using the agreed tools and practices. We can create “standard” test cases, or we can use Gherkin or the AAA pattern, or other formats needed by the customer.
Other planning and design services.
We can prepare other QA/QC documents, such as Security testing plans or Quality Control plans.
Test environments management
If requested, our QA team, together with our system administration/DevOps engineers can execute activities such as:
- Test environment setup/preparation, on premises or in the cloud. We can work remotely using the client infrastructure or we can use our infrastructure to prepare the test environment(s).
- Test environment maintenance. This includes activities such as software updates, hardware updates, clean-ups, backup & recovery, optimizations, audit & monitoring.
Test development activities
- Automated test cases development. We can automate test cases, using a wide variety of tools, programming languages and frameworks. See more here.
